5/3/1 – Shoulders, looking forward to de-load
Gah! Week 3 of the current 5/3/1 slog and I’m very much looking forward to an easy week next week. This volume training stuff doesn’t half take it out of you. It’s not that I’m particularly sore but I do feel tired and a little lacking in motivation. All things considered I ended up having a decent enough workout.
Push press – 5 x 67.5kg 3 x 75kg 2 x 85kg 1 x 95kg
Standing shoulder press using cables supersetted with TRX stuff – 4 sets 15 reps
Lateral raise – 4 sets 15 reps
Bicep curl – 4 sets 15 reps
Preacher curl – 4 sets 10 reps
Not the workout that legends are made out of but it felt pretty good regardless.
